Frequently Asked Questions
1. How far in advance should I book my wedding at Conrad Bali?
There is no minimum lead time when a wedding reservation must be made. We are
happy to confirm your wedding event in our resort provided that the venue of
your choice is still available on your selected date and time. Ideally, we
recommend our couples to book 6 – 12 months to allow ample time to carefully
plan your special day.
2. When is the best time for a wedding in Bali? What are the seasons in Bali?
In general, June to September are the most popular months to visit Bali. During
these months, there is very little rain and the air is cool from southern
hemisphere’s winter breeze, making them a popular period for weddings in Bali.
3. When are the peak and low season for weddings in Bali?
In alignment with the weather, June to September tend to be the busiest season
in Bali. November to February, with the exception of Christmas and New Year
period and other holidays are our less busy season.
4. How many wedding venues do you have?
We have four venues available for a wedding ceremony: Infinity, a magnificent
purpose built wedding venue overlooking the Indian Ocean with a capacity of 60
guests, for a contemporary wedding; Water Garden and Floating Garden, which can
be decorated in both Balinese or contemporary style for a garden wedding and
Beach Bale for an intimate wedding setting for up to 18 guests.
5. What wedding packages do you have?
Harmony package provides you with basic requirements including the usage of your
selected wedding venues, a wedding celebrant, contemporary flower decoration,
music accompaniment by wedding singers and a keyboardist, bridal bouquet and
boutonniere, wedding program, welcome drinks and a commemorative certificate.
Purnama provides our couples with an ultimate value, with fireworks display,
contemporary fire dance performance and lantern decoration during the evening
reception following your wedding ceremony.
Bali Deva is an alternative for couples wishing to have a Balinese wedding
ceremony, complete with Balinese costume and setting.
6. How long will a wedding ceremony take?
Depending on the nature and the religious belief to which it is performed in
accordance, a wedding ceremony may take as little as 25 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Please consult our wedding specialists on your preferences and any religious
requirements you may like to follow.
7. What venues are available for a wedding reception?
From small intimate parties to big celebrations, Conrad Bali has a number of
venues which you can select to host your special event.
Outdoor venues include Ocean Garden, a manicured lawn with water view which can
accommodate up to 350 guests for a reception. Other outdoor reception venues are
Infinity Garden and Floating Garden, both with capacity of 80 guests, Azure
Court which seats up to 60 guests and Water Garden which provides a perfect
setting for an evening of cocktails.
Indoor reception venues include our 531-sqm Ballroom, which seats up to 230
guests and our range of award winning dining outlets including RIN, Suku, and
Eight Degrees South.
8. If I confirm my wedding at Conrad Bali, am I obligated to book both my
wedding ceremony and reception?
In Conrad Bali, you are welcome to arrange your wedding ceremony or reception
only, or both. Our wedding packages are designed to accommodate the different
requirements from our couples.
9. Apart from wedding ceremony and reception venue, what other services do
you provide for couples wanting to get married at Conrad Bali?
We are also able to assist you in organising other services including
decoration, photography, wedding cake, entertainment and legalisation of your
marriage. Please contact our wedding specialists for details.
10. My spouse and I live outside Bali, I am afraid we will not have enough
time to fly back and forth to Bali during our planning, what should we do?
Our wedding specialists will fully assist you in planning your special day. We
advise for at least two visits to be made prior to your day. The first visit
will allow you to experience firsthand the facilities and services provided by
Conrad Bali, as well as viewing the venues.
Upon confirmation and initial planning, a second visit should be arranged to
finalise the details including food tasting, make up rehearsal, and decoration
details. This can even be combined with your pre wedding photoshoot trip.
We will continue to actively communicate to you on updates and the next stages
of the wedding planning.
11. Should I bring my own photographer, make up artist, decoration or
entertainment?
We are happy to assist you organising the details of your event, including
photography and professional make up artist services, decoration, entertainment
and even legalisation of your marriage. Please refer to our wedding information
on the full range of services we offer.
If you would like to bring your own partners in the above services for your
wedding, please communicate this to our wedding specialists.
12. I am planning to reserve rooms for my family, bridal party and guests;
what special offer will I receive?
For a minimum of 10 rooms reserved, you will be entitled to a special group
rate. Please contact our wedding specialists for details.
13. We are not Indonesian citizens, how will this affect the legalisation of
our marriage?
Foreign citizens are required to obtain a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI)
from their respective Embassies or Consulates. In addition, there will also be a
number of documentation which needs to be submitted. Please contact our wedding
specialists for further details.
14. I am not sure how many guests I will have on my wedding, what should I
do?
Although we understand that you may not have a fixed number of guests upon
reserving your venue and event, an approximate number of guests is required. As
we continue in the planning process, we will certainly have a clearer idea on
the total number of guests attending. Three days prior to the wedding day, we
will require a final number of guests as a minimum guarantee.
15. Some of my guests have special dietary restrictions and requirements,
will Conrad be able to cater for these guests?
Certainly, please advise our wedding specialists on your guests’ special dietary
requirements and their menus will be adjusted.
16. I am interested in having a pre wedding photo shoot in Conrad Bali, who
do I need to contact?
When you have confirmed your wedding in Conrad Bali, you are welcome to have a
pre wedding photo shoot in our resort. Please contact your wedding coordinator
to schedule your session.
If you do not have a wedding reservation at Conrad Bali but are interested on
having your pre wedding photo shoot, we do have special packages available.
